Race fans can participate in a fundraiser for Victory Junction Gang by visiting  over 700 Kangaroo Express in N.C., S.C., or VA by donating a $1! In return, you will receive a $0.50 discount coupon on any on 20- or 24-ounce Coca-Cola product. The entirety of the $1 donation goes directly to Victory Junction Gang.

This is the third consecutive year that Kangaroo Express and Coca-Cola have partnered to send kids to Victory Junction. In the first week, the drive flew past the $50,000 mark to sponsor kids for a week at camp…surpassing the amount raised last year.

It currently costs $2500 to send a camper to Victory Junction Gang Camp for a week.  All funds raised during this campaign will enable Kangaroo Express and Coca-Cola to sponsor children during two weeks of summer camp.

As many of you know, Victory Junction was the dream of Adam Petty, Richard Petty’s grandson and son of Kyle Petty. Adam’s promising career was tragically cut short by a crash in 2000. That’s when Adam’s parents (Kyle and Pattie Petty) devoted themselves to bring his greatest dream to life, a camp for kids with serious medical conditions, Victory Junction. Victory Junction gives kids who have lived their life on the sidelines the chance to revel in 84 acres of NASCAR-themed kid heaven – complete with indoor baseball, a zip line, bowling and a climate-controlled water park. Victory Junction relies solely on contributions and donations from individuals and corporations so that campers do not have to pay ANYTHING to attend camp.

On May 29, Kangaroo Express will present a check to Victory Junction at the Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

You can make your donation by visiting Kangaroo Express in one of the tree participating states, through May 6.
