Performance Racing Industry Show converges on Orlando this week

For anyone in the business of racing, there’s no where else in the world where you can see all the innovative products for the upcoming race season from well over 1,000 companies, conduct business face-to-face with existing suppliers, make new contacts, learn helpful marketing and profit-making techniques and even have some fun, all under one roof, except for the 2011 Performance Racing Industry Trade Show.

 

The PRI Trade Show is much more than just a trade show—it’s full of informative seminars and conferences to improve your business and offer educational advice, including the AETC, ICMS, Industry Roundtable and more.

 

Events at this year’s show will include the Red Bull Kart Fight at PRI. Stars from NASCAR, IndyCar, ALMS, X Games and more will compete in this action-packed karting spectacular under the lights! Plus, world karting champions!

 

The fifth edition of the popular race takes place Thursday night, December 1, 2011, in Orlando, Florida. The race course is a tight, technical, purpose-built race track adjacent to the Orange County Convention Center, housing the 700,000-squar-foot PRI Trade Show.

Past competitors include Indy 500 winners Dan Wheldon and Buddy Rice, Daytona 500 winner Jamie McMurray, current Indy 500 winner as a team owner Bryan Herta, 2011 Indy 500 pole position winner Alex Tagliani, NHRA Funny Car star Ron Capps, Top Fuel star Antron Brown and F1 star Vitantonio Liuzzi.

 

The Red Bull Kart Fight at PRI, Powered by Rotax race will be nationally televised.

 

The show will cover and exhibit racing items anywhere from spark plugs and engines to driving suits and welding masks. Displays will be set up with company representatives handy.

Legendary race engine builder Smokey Yunick created the Industry Roundtable to bring the racing industry the most honest, in-depth, expert discussion of issues in racing each year. The 15th Annual Industry Roundtable will tale place on Wednesday, November 30th from 1:30 pm – 3:30 pm at the North/South Convention Center.

 

This year’s PRI Trade Show features new, exhibitor-friendly Show hours, which are as follows: Thursday, December 1, 9:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m., Friday, December 2, 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., Saturday, December 3, 9:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.
