Phoenix International Raceway’s grandstands are sold out for the AdvoCare 500 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Race on November 11th. Fans may still purchase general admission tickets to PIR’s hillside area by calling 866-408-RACE or visiting PhoenixRaceway.com.

REMINDER:  Phoenix International Raceway announced that NASCAR has moved Gatorade Pole Qualifying for the semi-final race in the Chase for the Sprint Cup to Friday, Nov. 9 at 4:10 p.m. Gates open to the public Friday at 9 a.m. A full day of activity on the track will be highlighted by Gatorade Pole Qualifying and the running of the Lucas Oil 150 Camping World Truck Series race at 6 p.m.

Country music duo The Lost Trailers- known for their current hit “American Beauty”- will perform at 11 a.m. on Sunday, November 11 at the Budweiser ROLL-BAR main stage prior to the AdvoCare 500 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at Phoenix International Raceway.

Country singer Chelsea Bain will be singing National Anthem for Phoenix Nationwide race
Pop singer/songwriter and actress JoJo will sing “The Star Spangled Banner” prior to the AdvoCare 500 Semi-Final NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Race at Phoenix International Raceway on Sunday, November 11.

Ultimate Fighting Championship bantamweight champion, and former star of The Ultimate Fighter Live on FX, Dominick Cruz has been named Honorary Pace Car Driver for the AdvoCare 500 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race on Sunday, November 11.

ENTERTAINMENT
Fans attending the AdvoCare 500 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race weekend at Phoenix International Raceway will be treated to hearing from some of NASCAR’s top drivers prior to the action on the track Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 10-11. PIR race fans will have an opportunity to visit with 2012 Chase contender Kevin Harvick, racing legend and five-time NASCAR Sprint Cup Series runner-up Mark Martin, Arizona native Michael McDowell and 2011 NASCAR Nationwide Series runner-up Elliott Sadler and much more.

scheduled to participate in a free question-and-answer session for fans during the “OneMain Financial Open Track” session at Dover International Speedway. Ticket holders for that day’s “OneMain Financial 200″ NASCAR Nationwide Series race will have the chance to enter the track at Gate 18 and roam the frontstretch of the Monster Mile from 10:00 – 11:30am. Fans must present their tickets upon entry and exit, as they will be scanned to permit re-entrance for the qualifying sessions and race later in the day. Coolers are not permitted on the track.

Busy week leading up to NASCAR All-Star Race at Charlotte

What’s new for this year’s All-Star race? NOTHING! But don’t forget the special qualifying procedures for  the All-Star Race. Procedures below:

· Qualifying consists of three laps, including a pit stop for four new tires.

· The pit road speed limit will be in effect when cars enter pit road but will not be in effect when cars exit.

· All cars must qualify with the fuel cell full of fuel.

· Total elapsed time of the 3-lap qualifying run will determine starting positions for the NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race.

Dierks Bentley will be performing the pre-race concert prior to the All-Star race on May 21, as well as several autograph sessions taking place at the CMS ticket office during the event.

Then, Thursday night at 7PM is the Sprint Pit Crew Challenge at the Time Warner Arena in uptown Charlotte. Each member of the pit crew will be timed in their individual specialty, with each team advancing or “going home” in a bracket-style competition.

10:15 a.m. The new class of inductees will make an appearance in the NASCAR Hall of Fame. Question and answer period will be offered beginning at 10:15 a.m. in the Great Hall followed by an 11:15 a.m. autograph session for NASCAR Hall of Fame Members.
