Chase Driver Tuesdays set at the NASCAR Hall of Fame

In celebration of the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup, championship-contending drivers will visit the High Octane Theater at the NASCAR Hall of Fame for Q&A sessions with fans on Tuesday afternoons through Nov. 5.

Different NASCAR drivers will participate each week with the following scheduled:

REMINDER:  Phoenix International Raceway announced that NASCAR has moved Gatorade Pole Qualifying for the semi-final race in the Chase for the Sprint Cup to Friday, Nov. 9 at 4:10 p.m. Gates open to the public Friday at 9 a.m. A full day of activity on the track will be highlighted by Gatorade Pole Qualifying and the running of the Lucas Oil 150 Camping World Truck Series race at 6 p.m.

Pop singer/songwriter and actress JoJo will sing “The Star Spangled Banner” prior to the AdvoCare 500 Semi-Final NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Race at Phoenix International Raceway on Sunday, November 11.

Ultimate Fighting Championship bantamweight champion, and former star of The Ultimate Fighter Live on FX, Dominick Cruz has been named Honorary Pace Car Driver for the AdvoCare 500 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race on Sunday, November 11.

ENTERTAINMENT
Fans attending the AdvoCare 500 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race weekend at Phoenix International Raceway will be treated to hearing from some of NASCAR’s top drivers prior to the action on the track Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 10-11. Busy week leading up to NASCAR All-Star Race at Charlotte

What’s new for this year’s All-Star race? NOTHING! But don’t forget the special qualifying procedures for  the All-Star Race. Procedures below:

· Qualifying consists of three laps, including a pit stop for four new tires.

· The pit road speed limit will be in effect when cars enter pit road but will not be in effect when cars exit.

· All cars must qualify with the fuel cell full of fuel.

· Total elapsed time of the 3-lap qualifying run will determine starting positions for the NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race.

Dierks Bentley will be performing the pre-race concert prior to the All-Star race on May 21, as well as several autograph sessions taking place at the CMS ticket office during the event.
