Fans can view NASCAR Sprint Cup Hauler Parade headed to Chicagoland Speedway

For the third consecutive year, NASCAR and Chicagoland Speedway will team up to bring the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Hauler Parade to Downtown Joliet on Thursday, Sept. 12.

More than 30 haulers will parade through the streets of Joliet for fans to enjoy as the first race in the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup returns to Chicagoland Speedway.
Race Fan Rally is celebrating its 12th anniversary and features games, a classic car show, driver appearances, live music and fun for the entire family.

Race fans are invited to the Hollywood Casino Joliet at 4:00 pm (trucks depart at 4:30 pm), to get up close to the haulers and take photos prior to the start of the Parade, which is scheduled to begin at 5:00 pm.

The parade will stage west of the river bridge on Jefferson Street before heading east bound on Jefferson and making a left on Scott Street. The Chicagoland Speedway pace car and fire safety vehicles will lead the parade north on Scott Street, before making a left onto Jackson, and then a left on Ottawa to head south en route to Chicagoland Speedway.

Fans can watch the Hauler Parade from anywhere along the route (including the start at Hollywood Casino), but are encouraged to attend designated viewing areas at McBrody’s Bar and Grill (73 W. Jefferson St.), The Joliet Historical Museum (201 N. Ottawa) and the Joliet Public Library (150 N. Ottawa).

Chicagoland Speedway campers already on-site will also have a designated viewing area in the Gate 5 reserved parking lot, located on the north side of the facility. The Hauler Parade is estimated to arrive at The Speedway by 6:00 pm. The lot will not be open to the public.

Daughtry and Frankie J to crank up NASCAR Championship Drive Festival on Miami Beach

NASCAR will race into the Miami Beach spotlight with the 3rd annual NASCAR Championship Drive festival featuring the Coca-Cola Racing Family Concert with performances by multi-platinum artist Daughtry and Universal Latino recording artist Frankie J. To set the stage, South Florida personality and radio host DJ Laz will help fans enjoy the perfect combination of sports, food and fun beachside events on Thursday, Nov.15th.

A hauler parade will also take place. The parade starts in downtown Miami and travels across the MacArthur Causeway and onto Ocean Drive before ending at Lummus Park.

Fans can enter for a chance to win a VIP trip for two to Miami Beach for NASCAR Championship Drive at The prize package includes round-trip airfare, a four night hotel stay, tickets to the weekend races, VIP prize package provided by Ford, a meet-and-greet with Daughtry and more.

During Championship Taste, participants can sample fare from approximately 20 different South Florida restaurants at the track’s Chalet Village. The NASCAR Foundation and Homestead Hospital are teaming up for Championship Taste — a debut event benefiting The NASCAR Foundation’s Speediatrics children’s care unit program at Homestead Hospital.

Talladega Superspeedway hosts Fan Fest and NASCAR Hauler Parade

Talladega Superspeedway will host a fan fest and hauler parade at The Outlet Shops of Grand River, a distinctive outlet shopping destination located minutes from Downtown Birmingham in Leeds, Thursday, Oct. 20 from 3-6 p.m.


The Talladega Superspeedway Fan Fest & Hauler Parade event will also include:


• Prizes and give-aways from The Outlet Shops of Grand River and its family of leading designer and top name brand stores including The Old Farmer’s Almanac General Store, VF Outlet, Black & Decker Clearance Center, Sunglass Warehouse, Ghirardelli Chocolate and more.

The hauler parade will depart The Outlet Shops of Grand River at 6:15 pm and is expected to arrive at Talladega Superspeedway at approximately 6:45 pm.  Race fans located in the campgrounds are encouraged to turn their attention to Speedway Blvd. and watch the parade as it makes its way into the track.

The first day of Coca-Cola Fuels NASCAR Championship Drive goes out with a roar when the Grammy®-award winning Zac Brown Band perform a free concert on Miami Beach, and all of South Florida is invited.
